Guillaume Paoli is one of the two co-founders of Aramis Group, established in 2001 and now recognized as a major European player in the online purchase and sale of multi-brand used cars. He currently serves as co-CEO of the Group alongside Nicolas Chartier, within a governance model that rotates the top leadership roles on a regular basis. In practice, this places him at the center of strategy setting, operational prioritization, and the management of the company’s European growth agenda. Paoli graduated in marketing from ESSEC Business School and built his early career in marketing and brand development before moving into entrepreneurship. From 1997 to 1999, he worked at Unilever as a project manager for new European brands and later as a brand manager, gaining experience in a highly competitive international environment. He then served as Marketing Director at SEBO from 2000 to 2001, further strengthening his expertise in brand positioning and commercial execution. Against this backdrop, he co-founded Aramis Group with the ambition of reshaping the used-car buying and selling experience through digital tools, industrialized processes, and a more transparent customer offering. At Aramis Group, Guillaume Paoli has been instrumental in building a business model that combines a digital platform, logistics, refurbishment capabilities, and local market expertise. The Group describes itself as having become, in just a few years, a European leader in its segment, reflecting both strong brand development and the gradual scaling of operations across multiple countries. Recent company materials also highlight his role in the “smart convergence” strategy, which aims to align technology tools, refurbishment methods, and commercial practices more closely across geographies. Beyond Aramis Group, he has served on the board of Brigad since 2018 and on the strategic board of Raise France’s endowment fund since 2014, underscoring a lasting interest in innovation and impact-oriented initiatives.
