EU rules, an Irish supervisor

Ireland applies the EU Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) directly. The European Union (Market Abuse) Regulations 2016 (S.I. No. 349 of 2016), in force since 3 July 2016, designate the Central Bank of Ireland as the single competent authority. Euronext Dublin runs the market; the Central Bank receives the notifications and enforces the rules.

Under Article 19, persons discharging managerial responsibilities (PDMRs) and persons closely associated with them notify the issuer and the Central Bank promptly and no later than three business days after a transaction. The issuer must make the notice public within two business days of receiving it. PDMRs file with the Central Bank through its online portal, using a personal access code linked to the issuer.

EUR 20,000 since December 2024

The EU Listing Act, Regulation (EU) 2024/2809, raised the annual notification threshold from EUR 5,000 to EUR 20,000 as of 4 December 2024. The amount is calculated by adding transactions without netting. National authorities may lower it to EUR 10,000 or raise it to EUR 50,000 where market conditions justify it; the Central Bank's guidance states EUR 20,000.

A manager can now trade up to EUR 20,000 in a calendar year before any notice is due, and every transaction after that point must be notified. Neighbouring regimes differ: the UK, outside the EU since 2020, kept EUR 5,000.

Reading Irish filings here

The Irish feed is per-trade: each card is one PDMR transaction, recorded in euros, with a link to the original announcement when the source provides one. Role titles from the notices are mapped to the site's buckets (CEO, CFO, board members, other executives), and the original title stays on the insider page. The company hub lists Irish issuers with at least one filing in the database, ranked by number of filings, 50 per page. A market hub becomes indexable once it holds 250 filings. The method behind the scores is on the methodology page, and results on the performance page.
