Directors' dealings disclosure in Austria
OeKB, the archive for Austrian issuers
In Austria a manager's share deal reaches the public through a bank's database. Oesterreichische Kontrollbank (OeKB) runs OAM Issuer Info, the officially appointed mechanism that stores regulated information from Austrian listed issuers. Section 123 of the Stock Exchange Act 2018 (BörseG 2018) requires an issuer that publishes regulated information to send it at the same time to the exchange operator, to the Financial Market Authority (FMA) and to OeKB for storage.
The FMA supervises the regime and keeps older notifications on its German-language website. Current notices sit in the OeKB database, free to consult.
Two deadlines in sequence
Article 19 of the EU Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) applies directly. Board members, senior managers and persons closely associated with them notify the issuer and the FMA no later than three business days after the trade. The issuer then has two business days from receipt to publish the notification across the Union. The FMA announced that second deadline when it took effect on 1 January 2021 and confirmed that the three-day limit for managers stayed unchanged.
Threshold and sanctions
Reporting starts once a person's transactions reach EUR 20,000 within a calendar year, with purchases and sales added together. The figure was EUR 5,000 until 3 December 2024; the EU Listing Act, Regulation (EU) 2024/2809, raised it from 4 December 2024. MAR lets each authority move it to EUR 10,000 or EUR 50,000. ESMA's list of national changes dated 19 January 2026 names Malta, Denmark, Germany and France, and Austria does not appear on it.
The FMA publishes its sanctions without naming the individual. On 29 October 2024 it announced a EUR 13,000 fine on a supervisory board member of an issuer for a late notification of own-account dealings.
Reading Austrian filings on this site
Our Austrian feed is per-trade: each card is one transaction parsed from an OeKB notification, with the original PDF linked when the source provides it. Austria uses the euro, so amounts need no conversion. German titles map to our role buckets: Vorstandsvorsitzender to CEO, Finanzvorstand to CFO, Aufsichtsrat to board members and other Vorstand members to other executives. The insider page keeps the original wording. The methodology page explains how filings feed the signals.
