Stéphanie Le Coq de Kerland held a key leadership role at Nexity for more than twelve years, helping to structure the legal and compliance functions of one of France’s leading real estate operators. Her career reflects deep expertise in corporate law, governance, and data protection, built at the intersection of legal advisory, operational management, and regulatory oversight. She began her professional path at Fidal, first in the technical department and then in the international department, before joining Nexity in 2012 as legal manager for economic law. She was later appointed head of legal services and network in 2015, and then operational legal director in May 2019. Since May 2018, she has also served as the Group’s Data Protection Officer, underlining her central role in compliance, legal cybersecurity, and personal data risk management. Within Nexity’s governance framework, she also acted as secretary of the Board of Directors and as a member of the extended General Management Committee, giving her an important role in strategic decision-making and the monitoring of the company’s transformation initiatives. With an academic background including a law degree, a specialized master’s in general business law, and training at the Paris Bar School (EFB), she represents a high-level legal executive profile combining technical depth with operational leadership. Her work took place in a demanding regulatory environment where the legal function serves as a business partner, a risk anticipator, and a driver of corporate transformation. Nexity publicly highlighted the quality of its legal team’s work when it won a Leaders League gold trophy in 2021, recognizing its transformation plan and the strength of its notable casework. More recently, Nexity stated that after more than twelve years with the group, she chose to pursue a new professional chapter.
