Agata Mazurek-Bąk holds an important role in Veolia Environnement’s governance as a director representing employee shareholders, while also serving in an executive capacity as Senior Executive Vice President of Human Resources for Veolia Polska and the Central and Eastern Europe zone. Her career combines finance, audit, operational management and human resources leadership, reflecting a strong background in large-scale business transformation. She joined Veolia in 2005 after working in finance and audit. She holds a master’s degree in economics and initially helped build controlling structures and implement a shared services center in Poland, which she managed for nearly ten years as general director. That period gave her deep expertise in financial discipline, process standardization and operational efficiency, while also strengthening her ability to lead complex organizational change. Over the following years, she held several managerial roles across the Group in areas including finance, purchasing and strategic operational projects. Since 2019, her responsibilities have focused on human resources, a natural extension of her cross-functional background and her experience in supporting organizational transformation. She also oversees CSR activities in Poland run by the Veolia Foundation, which highlights her involvement in the social and environmental dimensions of the Group’s strategy. At Veolia Environnement’s Board of Directors, she has served since her appointment in June 2022 as a director representing employee shareholders and is a member of the Accounts and Audit Committee. In that capacity, she brings both financial rigor and a people-centered perspective to governance, employee engagement and share ownership topics. Multilingual, certified Green Belt Lean Six Sigma, and active in several international networks, Agata Mazurek-Bąk promotes a performance model built on diversity, responsibility and the long-term alignment of employee and shareholder interests.
