Armelle de Madre is an experienced executive specializing in human resources, organizational transformation, and corporate governance. She currently serves as an independent director of Renault Group and sits on the Governance and Compensation Committee. Appointed to her first term in April 2025, she brings to the board deep expertise in people strategy, talent management, and oversight of complex international organizations. Her profile combines operational leadership, strategic judgment, and strong board-level experience. She began her career in 1993 at Renault as a marketing analyst, before moving through a series of increasingly broad responsibilities within the company. She went on to take roles in headquarters training and HR for Renault’s logistics activities. In 2006, she was appointed Human Resources Director for the Flins plant, and later expanded her scope to cover vehicle and mechanical engineering at Renault, including the Technocentre, one of the Group’s major R&D centers in France. After more than 15 years at Renault, she joined Schneider Electric in 2010 as Director of Social Strategy and Innovation. In 2011, she moved to Arkadin, where she became Vice President of HR for EMEA, and later assumed additional marketing responsibilities for the region. She subsequently served as Chief People Officer and member of the Executive Committee. More recently, she has been associated with Datadog as Chief People Officer, supporting the company during a period of rapid growth. She also served as an independent director of Thales until 2023. A graduate of HEC Paris and Columbia University in New York, Armelle de Madre has built a career at the intersection of business, operations, and human capital.
