Clotilde Delbos is a French business executive and board director known for her strong financial background, experience in complex industrial groups, and extensive governance track record across listed companies. Born on September 30, 1967, and a graduate of emlyon business school with a specialization in accounting, she built her career in internal audit, mergers and acquisitions, treasury, and performance control, working in France and abroad, including California and Brussels. She held positions at Price Waterhouse and within the Pechiney group before moving into divisional finance leadership roles. She joined Renault Group in 2012 as Group Controller and later took on broader performance and control responsibilities. In 2016, she was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer and Chairwoman of the Board of RCI Banque SA. She then became a key executive during a major transformation period for Renault, helping steer the company through organizational change and leadership transition. In July 2020, she was appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer of Renault SA, then Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the group and Chief Executive Officer of Mobilize, roles she held until 2022. Her career reflects a strong ability to lead through change, maintain financial discipline, and oversee profitability, capital structure, and the development of new mobility business models. Today, Clotilde Delbos is a highly regarded independent director in major listed companies. She serves on Sanofi’s Board of Directors, where she is a member of the Audit Committee and Chairwoman of the Compensation Committee, and she also sits on the boards of Alstom, Schneider Electric, and Axa. Her appointments across leading industrial, healthcare, and technology companies underscore her credibility in governance, risk oversight, and financial supervision. She was awarded the Légion d’Honneur in 2021.
