Armelle Poulou is a French corporate finance executive known for her expertise in treasury, financing, and financial leadership at large international groups. A graduate of HEC Business School, she has built a career spanning more than 25 years in corporate finance, both in France and abroad, across several major companies. Before joining Kering, she held successive financial roles at Procter & Gamble, Hewlett-Packard, and EDF, gaining broad experience in complex, multi-country, and multi-business environments. She joined Kering in 2019 as Director of Corporate Finance, Treasury and Insurance, a strategic role within the luxury group. In that capacity, she helped oversee the company’s financial structure, liquidity management, funding relationships, and financial risk coverage. Her progression within Kering reflects deep familiarity with the group’s value-creation priorities, capital discipline, and balance-sheet resilience. In September 2023, Kering appointed her Chief Financial Officer, confirming her central role in the group’s governance. In this position, she is responsible for guiding Kering’s financial strategy and overseeing the group’s financial operations. The appointment came at a time when the company was sharpening its governance and focusing more strongly on performance, financial flexibility, and capital allocation.
