Astrid Anciaux is a seasoned executive within the Sopra Steria Group, where she has spent more than 30 years. She currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of Sopra Steria Benelux, overseeing Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. Her career with the Group began in 1987, when she joined the finance department of Steriabel, Steria’s first Belgian subsidiary, after prior experience in an accounting firm. That long tenure gave her a deep understanding of the company’s growth journey and of the functional and cultural integration that accompanied its expansion. A graduate of EPHEC in Brussels, Astrid Anciaux further strengthened her governance credentials by earning the Director qualification issued by Sciences Po and the IFA in 2017. Her professional path reflects a dual expertise in finance and organization, built through sustained involvement in control, performance management and transformation topics. Since 2014, she has also held cross-functional responsibilities across the three Benelux countries, demonstrating her ability to coordinate support functions in an international and multicultural setting. She has also played an important role in the Group’s governance. Appointed to Sopra Steria Group’s Board of Directors at the time of the Sopra-Steria combination in 2014, she brought the Board extensive field experience, a strong grasp of operational issues and a clear understanding of employee relations dynamics. Her Board mandate ended at the close of the 2020 General Meeting, but she remains a well-known and respected figure within the Sopra Steria ecosystem. Astrid Anciaux also has significant experience in employee share ownership. A former director of Soderi, former Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of the Groupe Steriactions employee mutual fund, and member of the Supervisory Board of the Sopra Steria Actions FCPE, she has worked closely on motivation, employee engagement and talent attraction. This human and social dimension complements her financial leadership profile and helps explain the value she has brought to the governance of a listed, international group with a strong employee-ownership culture.
