Jack Azoulay is a French executive known for a career at the crossroads of public policy, industry and private equity. In 2025, he was proposed as a director of Société Anonyme d’Explosifs et de Produits Chimiques (EPC Groupe), a listed company active in explosives manufacturing, storage and distribution, as well as drilling-and-blasting, demolition and recycling. His background reflects a strong command of governance, strategic transformation and industrial decision-making. At Argos Wityu, which he joined in 2022, Jack Azoulay serves as Senior Partner and played a key role in launching Argos Climate Action, a fund designed to acquire controlling stakes in European SMEs and mid-sized companies in order to accelerate their decarbonization and growth. This role highlights his expertise in climate strategy, operational transformation and impact-oriented investing, combining financial discipline with environmental ambition. Before entering the private investment world, he held senior positions in the French public sector. He served as chief of staff at the Ministry of Ecological Transition during Emmanuel Macron’s first term, contributing to policy work on energy, housing, transport and biodiversity. He also managed industrial shareholdings at the Agence des Participations de l’État (APE), the French government’s shareholding agency, where he represented the State’s interests in strategic companies. In that capacity, he sat on the boards of major industrial groups including PSA, Naval Group, KNDS and Chantiers de l’Atlantique. Earlier in his career, he worked at La Poste, where he contributed to the diversification of the group’s businesses, and also held positions in the Cour des comptes and in economic administration. A graduate of ENA, Sciences Po Paris, ESCP Europe and Paris-Dauphine University, Jack Azoulay brings a rare blend of public-sector governance, industrial insight and investment experience.
