Frida Mari Norrbom Sams is an internationally experienced business leader known for her work in industrial transformation, strategy, value chain optimization, and listed-company governance. Born in 1971 and Swedish by nationality, she holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from Uppsala University. Her career began in consulting, where she worked at Andersen Business Consulting as a Manager focused on Operational Excellence and Value Chain Optimization from 1999 to 2002. She then joined BearingPoint, serving as Senior Manager from 2002 to 2007, with responsibilities spanning value creation, cash-flow optimization, value-chain design, and M&A-related work. She later moved into senior leadership roles in industry, joining Sanitec Corporation in Finland as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer, and subsequently as Senior Vice President and Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer for Northern Europe from 2007 to 2011. That period gave her deep exposure to international operations, execution discipline, and performance improvement. She went on to hold major executive positions at Husqvarna Group, including EVP, Head of EMEA and VP Sales and Service Northern Europe. She is currently President and CEO of Hydroscand Group, underscoring her profile as a senior operational leader. Since 23 May 2024, Frida Norrbom Sams has served as an Independent Director on the Board of Vallourec and as a member of its CSR Committee. Her background aligns closely with the needs of a global industrial listed company: value creation, continuous improvement, financial rigor, international growth, and responsible governance.
