François Roger is a French executive specializing in human resources, organization design and large-scale corporate transformation. Born in 1972, he graduated from the École de Management de Lyon with a degree focused on finance and human resources. He began his career as a consultant at Hay Management, now Korn Ferry Hay, where he worked on total rewards and human resources management. He then joined SC Johnson in 2000 as International Compensation and Benefits Director, followed by a series of international HR roles that gave him broad cross-functional and multicultural exposure. In 2005, he moved to Novartis as France and South Europe Head of HR for the animal health division. He later spent nine years at GE Healthcare, from 2008 to 2016, serving as VP HR and supporting multiple businesses and geographies. Before joining Renault, he also worked at BIC in Shelton, Connecticut, as VP Global Talent, overseeing global talent strategy, talent acquisition, learning and development. François Roger joined Renault Group in June 2018 as Senior Vice President, Human Resources and a member of the Group management committee. In April 2019, he was promoted to Executive Vice President, Human Resources, with broader responsibility for prevention and protection, real estate, and facilities management. On January 1, 2021, he became EVP, People, Workplace and Organization. Since February 1, 2023, he has held the title of Chief People, Workplace, Organization Officer and sits on Renault Group’s Leadership Team, the single management body responsible for strategic and operational oversight.
