Fabrice Barthélemy is a French industrial and corporate executive best known for his leadership at Tarkett, the international flooring and sports surfaces group. He has served as CEO of Tarkett since January 2019. Prior to that, he joined the company in 2008 as Chief Financial Officer, with additional responsibilities for Information Systems and Legal Affairs. He later became President of the EMEA & LATAM division, a role he held from February 2017 to September 2019, giving him direct operational exposure to some of the group’s largest and most strategically important markets. Before joining Tarkett, Barthélemy built a strong career in finance and industrial management. He started at Safran as an industrial controller, then moved to Valeo in 1995 as a divisional financial controller in the United Kingdom. From 2000 to 2003, he contributed to the turnaround of Valeo’s Lighting division in France. He was subsequently appointed CFO of Valeo’s Electronics and Connectivity Systems activities, and later of the Wiper Systems activities. He is a graduate of ESCP Europe. His background reflects a combination of financial rigor, operational discipline, and restructuring expertise. At Tarkett, he has been associated with a strategy focused on transformation, profitability, and international execution, while reinforcing the company’s emphasis on sustainability, circular economy principles, and responsible innovation.
