About ERIC RONDOLAT

Eric Rondolat is a French-Italian industrial executive known for his long international career in energy, electrical equipment, and lighting. He is currently an independent director of Groupe SEB, the French listed company behind leading consumer brands such as Tefal, Moulinex, Rowenta, Krups and WMF. He was appointed in 2025 for a term running through 2029, and he serves on key board committees, including Audit and Compliance as well as Strategy and CSR, reflecting the company’s confidence in his governance and transformation experience. He holds an engineering degree from the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble and a master’s degree in international marketing from Grenoble Ecole de Management. Rondolat began his career at Schneider Electric in 1990 and spent more than two decades building a broad international track record. He held several leadership roles across Australia, Argentina, France and Singapore, then became Executive Vice President for the Power business in France from 2006 to 2010, before taking responsibility for Asia-Pacific in China from 2010 to 2012. In 2012, he joined Philips as Chief Executive Officer of the Lighting sector and a member of the Executive Committee. He later led the business through one of the industry’s most significant transitions, as lighting moved from traditional technologies toward LEDs, connected solutions and more service-oriented business models. From May 2016 to April 2025, he served as Chief Executive Officer and Chair of the Board of Management of Signify, the listed company spun off from Philips’ lighting activities. In that role, he oversaw a major global industrial platform and steered its strategic evolution, with a focus on innovation, operational discipline and long-term value creation. His tenure is widely associated with leading a major transformation in a mature but rapidly changing sector. At Groupe SEB, Rondolat brings the board a seasoned perspective on strategy, governance, industrial execution and international expansion.
