Valérie Chapoulaud-Floquet is a French business leader known for her long international career in luxury goods and spirits, followed by senior non-executive board responsibilities. A graduate of EM Lyon Business School in finance and international business, she started her career in 1983 as an analyst at Crédit Lyonnais Italy. In 1984, she joined L’Oréal, where she first worked in internal audit before moving in 1988 to the Luxury Products Division. Over the following years, she held a series of management roles across Europe, Asia, and North America, building a strong global leadership profile. Her career at L’Oréal included key responsibilities at Biotherm. In 1996, she became General Manager of Biotherm Italy, and in 1998 she was appointed Biotherm International Development Manager. In 2002, she took charge of the Luxury Products Division in Asia, followed by Europe in 2005 and the United States in 2007. In 2008, she joined LVMH as CEO of Louis Vuitton Taiwan, later moving to major leadership positions as President of Louis Vuitton South Europe, President and CEO of Louis Vuitton North America, and President and CEO of Louis Vuitton Americas.
