Laurent Saucié is Group Regional Director for North Africa, Latin America, France and Portugal at Ayvens. He also serves as Chief Integration Officer of Ayvens and as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Ayvens Bank N.V. Together, these roles place him at the center of the group’s transformation agenda, regional governance, and post-merger integration work. A graduate of CentraleSupélec and holder of a master’s degree in economics, Saucié has built a career spanning finance, internal audit, leasing, and risk management. He joined Société Générale in 1997 in the General Inspection Department, working first in audit and advisory roles and later as a Senior Inspector from 2003. That early experience gave him a strong grounding in internal control, governance, and risk assessment, which are valuable in complex banking and mobility businesses. He then moved to ALD in Italy from 2005 to 2011, where he served first as Deputy Managing Director and later as CEO. This period gave him hands-on leadership experience in automotive leasing, international operations, and subsidiary management. In 2011, he was appointed Deputy CEO of Franfinance, further broadening his exposure to corporate finance and equipment-financing solutions. In 2015, he moved to Société Générale’s Risk Division, and from 2016 to 2021 he held senior credit risk management responsibilities, deepening his expertise in portfolio oversight and risk governance. Saucié returned to the ALD/Ayvens perimeter in 2022 as Integration Leader, at a pivotal moment following the LeasePlan acquisition. In that role, he was responsible for developing and executing the integration strategy, coordinating teams across businesses and geographies to ensure an effective merger process. That mandate underscores his reputation as an executive who combines strategic discipline with operational rigor, particularly in large-scale transformation programs.
