Jacques Adoue is the Executive Vice President, Human Resources and Corporate Social Responsibility at Edenred, and a member of the Group Executive Committee since 2017. In this role, he oversees the group’s human resources strategy as well as its corporate social responsibility agenda, two central pillars in the management of a listed international company. His responsibilities place him at the intersection of talent development, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and long-term sustainable performance. He graduated from IEP Bordeaux and holds a master’s degree in management. Jacques Adoue has built his career largely in human resources, internal communications, and organizational support functions within large and complex service companies. He started in 1987 at Franfinance as a branch manager, then joined Euroman in 1990 as a recruitment consultant. In 1993, he became Human Resources Director for France at Porcher Distribution. Three years later, he moved to Virgin Stores as Human Resources and Internal Communications Director for Southern Europe, gaining broader regional exposure in a fast-changing retail environment. In 2000, he was appointed Deputy Group Human Resources Director for France at SFR Groupe. In 2006, he joined Accor as Human Resources Director for the hotels division in France, and in 2009 he moved to Capgemini as HR Director for France, Southern Europe and Central Europe. These successive roles in major French and international groups gave him deep experience in social relations, change management, talent policies and the alignment of HR practices with business strategy. At Edenred, Jacques Adoue contributes to the group’s people strategy and sustainability culture. His remit supports the company’s ambition to foster a more inclusive, responsible and engaged workplace across a global footprint. His professional background shows a strong ability to lead human capital strategies in complex organizations and to position HR as a driver of performance, cohesion and corporate responsibility.
