GROUPE PAREDES ORAPI is closely associated with François Thuilleur, the long-standing leader of Paredes and the central executive behind the creation of the combined Paredes Orapi group. As head of Paredes, he led a strategy of consolidation and industrial integration in the professional hygiene sector, bringing together manufacturing, distribution and high-value-added services. The merged group emerged from the union of two historic players in hygiene, with a clear ambition: to become an integrated leader in the French market and strengthen its footprint across Europe. Under his leadership, the group reached a major milestone with the completion of the Orapi takeover in March 2024, which marked the culmination of an ambitious industrial and capital transaction. The operation helped create a substantial business platform with around €435 million in revenue in 2024, an international presence across multiple countries, and a workforce of roughly 1,600 employees. The group’s “Industributeur©” model is built on controlling the full value chain, from production to distribution, in order to improve supply security, logistics efficiency and innovation capacity. François Thuilleur is also recognized as a leader with a strong focus on sustainable performance. In 2022, he received the KPMG-EIM award for the best financial and CSR trajectory, and Paredes was later named a Deloitte Best Managed Companies winner in 2023 and 2024. These distinctions reflect a governance approach centered on profitable growth, organizational structuring, operational excellence and the progressive integration of CSR priorities into strategy. His leadership has also aimed to unite teams around a long-term industrial transformation project while strengthening the group’s credibility with clients, partners and investors.
