Grégory Lambertie is a French corporate executive with a strong background in corporate finance, strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and public affairs, best known for his senior leadership role at Worldline, one of Europe’s leading payments companies. He was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer in April 2022 and took up the role on 16 May 2022, succeeding Eric Heurtaux at a pivotal time for the group. Worldline highlighted his deep expertise in the payments industry, his financial skills, and his direct involvement in transformative acquisitions executed first by Ingenico and later by Worldline itself. Before becoming Group CFO, Lambertie had already been part of Worldline’s Executive Committee since the completion of the Ingenico acquisition in November 2020. In that role, he was responsible for Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Public and Regulatory Affairs. This followed his tenure at Ingenico, where he joined in 2015 and served as SVP Strategy and M&A until November 2020. During that period, he was involved in strategic transactions that supported the consolidation and transformation of the payments sector. He also served as a board member of Payone GmbH, Worldline’s joint venture with German savings banks, underscoring his involvement in governance and integration of strategically important assets. His earlier career reflects a strong investment banking and private equity track record. From 2011 to 2015, he was a Senior Banker at Ondra Partners, where he worked on numerous M&A, financing, and capital markets transactions across Europe, North America, and Africa. Prior to that, he started in audit at Ernst & Young in Paris, then moved to Lehman Brothers in London’s M&A team, and later joined Trilantic Europe as a Principal focused on industrial and healthcare services deals. A graduate of HEC Paris and Sciences Po Paris, Lambertie represents a finance leader with a strategic mindset, international transaction experience, and a proven ability to support growth, integration, and operational efficiency in a listed-company environment.
