Franciscus Engelen, more commonly known as Frank Engelen, is a Dutch corporate leader with deep expertise in tax, finance, and corporate structuring. He joined Coty’s Board of Directors in November 2025, bringing substantial experience in governance, transactions, and capital allocation. At JAB Sàrl, he has served as Vice Chairman and Co-CEO since May 2025, after serving as Chief Financial Officer from December 2023 to May 2025 and as Managing Partner since December 2023. He joined JAB in 2020 as a partner, placing him close to the group’s strategic and investment decisions. Before JAB, Engelen spent more than 15 years at PwC, where he rose to the partner level. His PwC career included five years as a member of the Management Board of PwC Netherlands and two years as director and member of the Executive Board of PwC Europe, reflecting extensive leadership experience in international, regulated, and transaction-driven environments. He also served as a director of Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. from October 2024 to February 2025, and has held non-executive director roles at several JAB portfolio companies, including JDE Peet’s N.V., Independence Pet Holdings, and Pinnacle Pet Group. His academic background combines law and international taxation, including studies at Comenius College, a law degree from Leiden University, and an LL.M. in International Tax Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam. Coty states that he brings more than 25 years of experience in managing complex tax matters and transactions, including deal structuring, financing, corporate structuring, and tax planning across multiple industries. That background makes him a highly relevant board member for a global listed company such as Coty, where strategic discipline and financial sophistication are essential.
