About David Meneses

David Meneses is currently Executive Vice President, People & Sustainability at OPmobility SE and a member of the Executive Committee. In this role, he oversees the Group’s human resources agenda, employee engagement, talent development and sustainability strategy. His remit is strategically important for OPmobility, as the company continues to align its industrial transformation with stronger ESG commitments and a long-term view of performance. Meneses joined OPmobility in 2021 as the newly created Director of Sustainability. In June 2022, the company broadened his scope by merging the Human Resources and Sustainability functions, placing him in charge of the combined People & Sustainability organization. That move reflected the Group’s belief that social, environmental and organizational priorities should be managed together to support competitiveness, attractiveness and execution. Before joining OPmobility, Meneses spent a long career at Air Liquide, where he began in 1996. Over time, he held positions of increasing responsibility in research and development, business development, sales and marketing, operational management and strategic planning, working in France and Japan. He later managed operations in Central America and was appointed CEO of Air Liquide’s industrial gas business in the United States. This international trajectory gave him broad experience in industrial operations, stakeholder management and multicultural leadership. He graduated from ESPCI Paris, one of France’s leading engineering schools, and also holds a Master’s degree in Process Engineering from the University of Paris. His profile combines scientific rigor with executive leadership experience, which is particularly relevant in a listed industrial group facing structural change. At OPmobility, Meneses is associated with the company’s efforts to strengthen its sustainability roadmap, support organizational transformation and reinforce the role of human capital in value creation. His career illustrates a strong ability to connect operational discipline, strategic thinking and responsible business practices within complex global organizations.
