Christian Jeanneau is a seasoned executive in engineering and technology-driven services, with a long career at Assystem. A graduate of INSA Lyon, and later an Executive Programme alumnus of INSEAD, he joined Assystem in 1995 as a testing engineer. In that role, he worked on France’s nuclear fleet and in the naval sector, gaining direct exposure to highly regulated industrial environments and the operational discipline required in safety-critical projects. Over time, he progressed through several senior leadership positions. After additional experience in South Africa in infrastructure, and then in the automotive industry as Director of Operations, he became head of Assystem’s Engineering business in 2008. In 2011, he took charge of the company’s French nuclear activities. Two years later, in 2013, he was appointed Managing Director of Assystem France for Energy, Infrastructure and Life Science activities. In 2022, he became Senior Vice President in charge of the Group’s digital activities, and since 2025 he has served as Executive Vice President International & Digital. In these roles, Christian Jeanneau has been closely involved in Assystem’s strategic positioning at the intersection of nuclear engineering, energy transition and digital transformation. He has helped strengthen the integration of engineering, project management and digital capabilities, with a particular emphasis on industrialising complex projects, preserving technical know-how, and expanding digital solutions that support nuclear and infrastructure programmes. He also contributes to the broader professional ecosystem. He is Director of the Assystem Institute, a training body established to transfer the Group’s skills and knowledge to new generations of engineers, and he serves as an administrator and Vice President of Syntec Ingénierie, where he is responsible for social affairs and training. His career reflects a combination of technical depth, operational leadership and strategic vision, with a consistent focus on innovation, capability-building and industrial performance.
