About Catherine ABIVEN

Catherine Abiven is a French executive with deep expertise in social protection, insurance and information systems, whose career has led her to both board-level governance and operational leadership within the listed Cegedim Group. According to Cegedim’s universal registration document, she has been a member of Cegedim’s Board of Directors since August 30, 2019. She currently serves as Managing Director of Cetip since March 15, 2023, Chairwoman of Cegedim Activ since January 2, 2023, and Chairwoman of ISIAKLE since May 31, 2023. She was also appointed Chairwoman of 3AS in October 2024. Before joining Cegedim, Catherine Abiven built a strong career in the social protection industry. She holds advanced degrees in international business management and insurance from the MBA program at Université Paris-Dauphine, and she is certified as a company director through a joint program run by Sciences Po and the French Institute of Directors (IFA). She began her career at AG2R, where she first led information systems and then took responsibility for management control, internal control, audit and accounting. She later joined D&O in 2007 as a senior executive. Following the merger of D&O with Mornay to create KLESIA, she rose to the position of Deputy CEO in January 2013. At Cegedim, her expertise is particularly relevant to software and services for insurance, healthcare and supplementary health coverage, as well as to digital transformation and operational management. Her hands-on experience in health insurance and personal protection, combined with a strong background in finance, compliance and IT systems, positions her as an executive capable of structuring complex organizations and supporting business transformation. Within the Group, she has helped strengthen governance across strategic entities and oversee activities at the intersection of software, outsourced services and digital exchange flows. Her profile reflects a combination of operational leadership and strategic oversight, especially valuable in a regulated and technology-driven environment.
