About Yann Delabriere

Yann Delabrière is a prominent French executive and board director whose career bridges public service, finance and industry. He graduated from the École normale supérieure, the École nationale d’administration and holds a degree in mathematics, then began his career at the French Cour des comptes before joining the office of the Ministry of Foreign Trade. This early background gave him a strong grounding in financial analysis, organizational oversight and public-policy coordination—skills that later proved highly valuable in the private sector. He then moved into senior financial roles at Coface and the Printemps group, before joining PSA in 1990 as Chief Financial Officer. He became a member of PSA’s Executive Committee in 1998, establishing himself as a senior decision-maker in French automotive industry. In 2007, Delabrière was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Faurecia, one of the world’s leading automotive suppliers, a role he held until July 2016, and then remained Chairman of the Board until May 2017. His tenure at Faurecia is widely associated with the group’s international expansion and a stronger emphasis on financial discipline and industrial execution. Delabrière joined Alstom in 2017 as an independent director and later served as Lead Independent Director in the context of governance developments linked to the Siemens Mobility combination project. At Alstom, he brought significant experience in audit, strategy, listed-company governance and the supervision of complex transactions. He has also served as a director of major listed groups such as Capgemini, underscoring his broad experience on boards of international companies.
