Thierry Blandinières is a senior French executive known for his leadership in agribusiness, specialized retail, and the transformation of cooperative business groups. He graduated from the École Supérieure de Commerce de Nantes and holds an Executive MBA from HEC. He began his career in the chemicals and cosmetics sector before moving into agribusiness in 1991, when he joined L’Européenne de Gastronomie (Labeyrie/Rougier). He later joined Madrange, where he was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer in 1998. These early roles gave him deep operational experience in consumer brands, turnaround situations, and industrial management. In 2003, he became Chairman of Delpeyrat-Comtesse du Barry, a subsidiary of the Maïsadour group, and contributed to its recovery. In 2008, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Maïsadour, where he led performance, development, and strategic repositioning efforts. His career then expanded significantly when he joined InVivo in October 2013 as Chief Executive Officer. There, he launched the “2025” strategic project and later helped shape the “2030 by InVivo” roadmap, focused on agricultural transition, innovation, and the transformation of the cooperative model. He also played an active role in turning InVivo into a purpose-driven company. Blandinières also played a central role in the creation of TERACT, notably through the transaction combining 2MX Organic and InVivo Retail, which laid the foundation for the group’s retail platform. TERACT has since developed a portfolio of strong brands in garden centers, pet care, and food retail, with a clear ambition to accelerate growth while supporting agricultural and food transition. He currently serves as Chairman of TERACT’s Board of Directors, a position that reflects his long-standing experience in governance, corporate strategy, and complex organizational transformation. His profile is marked by the ability to lead large organizations, structure strategic partnerships, and pursue long-term value creation with a strong sense of responsibility.
