Michel Giannuzzi is a seasoned French business leader known for his expertise in industrial transformation, value creation, and the governance of listed companies. Since 2022, he has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Verallia, after holding the role of Chairman and CEO of the glass packaging group for five years. In that capacity, he steered the company’s development and sustainability strategy and successfully led Verallia’s IPO on Euronext Paris in October 2019. His leadership has been closely associated with profitable growth, operational discipline, and a stronger ESG agenda. Before joining Verallia, Giannuzzi led Tarkett from 2007 to 2017 as Chairman of the Executive Board. During that period, he implemented a profitable and sustainable growth strategy that culminated in Tarkett’s listing on Euronext Paris in 2013. This track record shows a consistent ability to build industrial strategies, create shareholder value, and prepare companies for public markets. Earlier in his career, he held senior management positions at Michelin and Valeo in France, Japan, and the United Kingdom, giving him broad international exposure and deep industrial insight.
