About Jean-Louis Charon
Jean-Louis Charon is an experienced executive in real estate and investment, best known today as Chairman of City Star Capital and as a board member of Tikehau Capital. A graduate of both the École Polytechnique and the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, he has built a career centered on senior leadership roles spanning industry, property, and finance. He began his career at the French Ministry of Industry, where he was responsible for foreign investment in France and French investment abroad, before moving on to positions at General Electric and Thomson. This early experience gave him a strong grounding in complex industrial and technology-driven environments. In 1996, Jean-Louis Charon became Managing Director of CGIS, the real estate arm of Vivendi Universal.
