Quantitative Signals & Scoring
The value of an insider trade expressed as a fraction of the company's market capitalisation, a size-normalised measure of how meaningful the trade is.
A one-million-euro purchase means very different things on a 100 million euro micro-cap and a 100 billion euro mega-cap. Dividing trade value by market cap makes conviction comparable across the whole universe. The Sigma score uses this ratio rather than the raw euro amount, so a proportionally large insider bet on a small company is not drowned out by a token purchase on a giant.
