Bernard Canetti is a French business leader known for a career built at the crossroads of publishing, direct-to-consumer commerce and customer-facing services. He graduated from ESCP Europe in 1972 and began his professional journey in mail-order and remote sales, first as Managing Director of the mail-order division of Éditions Robert Laffont until 1984, and then by joining the Guilde Internationale du Disque. He later helped integrate that business into the Atlas Group, where he contributed to the development of a multi-channel commercial model centered on marketing intensity and direct customer acquisition. Over time, Canetti developed deep expertise in brand building, sales conversion, customer acquisition, commercial network management and business transformation. He subsequently led a group that, for more than twenty-five years, became a market leader in cultural collections and mass-market textile products sold through catalog and mail-order channels, demonstrating his ability to scale profitable commercial models and expand them internationally. In 2010, he founded Comme J’aime and became its Chairman, building the company around large-scale advertising, direct sales and customer retention for home-delivered slimming meal programs. He also chairs Xynergy Group, a holding company that owns and manages Comme J’aime and the Centre Européen de Formation. At Teleperformance, Bernard Canetti serves as a director, a mandate renewed by the 2022 general meeting, and he is associated with board-level work on governance, strategy and customer experience. His profile is especially relevant for a global customer experience group because he brings hands-on insight into conversion levers, retention dynamics and the economics of remote customer relationships.
