Robert V. Vitale is a leading corporate executive in the U.S. consumer and financial services landscape, with a career defined by disciplined capital allocation, acquisitions, and business transformation. He has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Post Holdings since 2014, having joined the company in 2011 as Chief Financial Officer during the period of its separation from Ralcorp Holdings. In December 2025, he was also named Chairman of the Board of Post Holdings. Under his leadership, Post has completed more than 20 acquisitions and executed a series of significant strategic and financial transactions, including the formation and recapitalization of 8th Avenue Food & Provisions, the initial public offering of BellRing Brands in 2019, and BellRing’s spin-off in 2022. He also continues to serve as Executive Chairman of BellRing Brands, underscoring his ongoing influence in the company’s governance and in the development of its convenient nutrition platform. Before joining Post, Mr. Vitale was President and Chief Executive Officer of AHM Financial Group LLC, a diversified financial services firm that grew five-fold in revenue during his tenure. Earlier in his career, he was a partner at Westgate Group LLC, a consumer products private equity firm, after serving in corporate finance at Boatmen’s Bancshares and beginning his career at KPMG. His background combines accounting, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and operational leadership, giving him a broad perspective on governance and strategic execution. He has also served on the Board of Directors of Energizer Holdings since 2017, bringing experience in consumer products, transaction oversight, and financial stewardship. He holds an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and a BSBA from Saint Louis University, and is widely recognized for his leadership in transformational growth and portfolio management.
