About Sujatha Chandrasekaran
Sujatha Chandrasekaran, also known as Suja Chandra, is an independent director of Atos SE, where she joined on January 14, 2024 and whose mandate was renewed by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting on January 31, 2025. Within Atos, she holds an important governance role as Chair of the Remuneration Committee and member of the Audit Committee, placing her at the center of oversight on performance, financial discipline, and the alignment between management and shareholders. Before joining Atos, Chandrasekaran built a distinguished international career in information technology, digital transformation, and data leadership. She held leadership roles at Nestlé from 1996 to 2007, then served as Regional Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at PepsiCo from 2007 to 2009. She later became Senior Vice President, Global Chief Information and eCommerce Officer at Timberland, before joining Walmart in 2011 as Senior Vice President, Global Chief Technology Officer and Chief Data Officer, where she led technology and digital transformation across Walmart US, Sam’s Club, and Walmart. From 2016 to 2019, she was Global Chief Information Officer at Kimberly-Clark Corporation, and from 2019 to 2022 she served as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Digital and Information Officer at CommonSpirit Health, overseeing technology, digital, cybersecurity, data, and AI development. Her background reflects deep expertise in enterprise-scale transformation, information systems modernization, data governance, cybersecurity, and digital innovation. She has also developed a strong non-executive profile through board service at companies including American Eagle Outfitters since 2018, Cardinal Health since 2022, and previously Barry Callebaut AG. In addition, she contributes to organizations focused on social impact, including the T200 Foundation, which supports women in technology. She holds a Master of Business Systems from Monash University and an engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Madras. Overall, Chandrasekaran brings to Atos a combination of operating rigor, strategic perspective, and international governance experience.
