Philippe Vanderbec plays a significant governance role at Getlink SE as a staff representative director on the Board of Directors. The 2025 Universal Registration Document also states that he became General Secretary of the Eurotunnel CGT union in 2000, was elected President of the Calais Employment Tribunal in 2008, and began training CGT employment tribunal advisers in the Pas-de-Calais area in 2014. Within the Board, Philippe Vanderbec serves on two key committees: the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Safety and Security Committee. According to the 2025 Universal Registration Document, he recorded a 100% attendance rate at Board meetings and at both committee meetings, reflecting a strong level of involvement in corporate oversight. Since 2025, he has also held the Sciences Po-IFA 2025 director certificate, which further strengthens his governance profile.
