Olivier Lecomte is an experienced executive with a background spanning investment banking, real estate, and innovation-led entrepreneurship. He is best known today for his role at Icade as an independent director, where he serves as Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee. A graduate of École Centrale Paris, he began his career in investment banking in London and Paris, first at Société Générale and then at Demachy, Worms & Cie. This early phase of his career gave him strong expertise in financial analysis, transaction structuring, and the management of complex corporate operations. He later joined Unibail, a major player in commercial real estate, where he held progressively senior roles from 1994 to 2002. His responsibilities included Director of Development, Chairman of Espace Expansion, and eventually Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Unibail, in charge of the Shopping Centers and Conventions-Exhibitions divisions. These positions strengthened his know-how in property development, asset management, value creation, and the leadership of operating businesses in highly competitive markets. Beyond his real estate career, Olivier Lecomte has also been active in innovation and the entrepreneurial ecosystem. From 2010 to 2014, he chaired the Paris-Région Innovation Laboratory (Paris Lab) and served as a board member of Paris & Co. He is also a co-founder of Theravectys, a biotechnology start-up stemming from Institut Pasteur research, and has been involved in steering committees linked to cancer research initiatives.
