Jean-François Nogrette is a senior Veolia Environnement executive and currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of the France & Special Waste Europe Zone, while also sitting on the Group’s Management Committee. Trained as an engineer, he graduated from the Institut National Agronomique de Paris-Grignon and from ENGREF-Mines de Paris. From 1997 to 2002, he worked in Israel and Canada to develop hazardous-waste businesses, an experience that gave him direct exposure to international expansion, local compliance frameworks, and the management of complex cross-border projects. After returning to France in 2003, he successively led the Industrial & Innovation Department and the North of France Regional Department at SARP Industries, where he strengthened his reputation as an operational leader with a strong focus on innovation and execution. In 2010, he was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SARP and SARP Industries, a role that placed him at the center of major operational and strategic responsibilities within the Group’s waste activities. In May 2015, he became Chief Executive Officer of Veolia Water Technologies, overseeing the development of advanced water-treatment solutions and contributing to the modernization of client offerings through reliability, service quality, and digital tools.
