Jane Lin-Baden is an international executive in the communications, digital and marketing services industries, and she currently serves as Chief Executive Officer for Asia Pacific (APAC) at Publicis Groupe. In this role, she oversees operations across 15 markets spanning four sub-regions: North Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and Australia/New Zealand. She also sits on the group’s global Management Committee, reflecting the strategic importance of her remit within Publicis Groupe’s worldwide governance structure. Lin-Baden joined Publicis Groupe in 2018 after building a strong track record in digital, technology and entrepreneurship. Prior to Publicis, she was Chief Executive Officer, Asia Pacific at Isobar, where she expanded her leadership scope after taking charge of China in 2013. Publicis also notes that she spent years founding software and digital marketing startups, giving her more than 25 years of experience across management, entrepreneurship, brand strategy and client advisory work in sectors including FMCG, technology, health, beauty, retail, finance and automotive. At Publicis, she initially served as Managing Partner, APAC, and CEO of North Asia, with responsibility for China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and Japan. In January 2022, Publicis appointed her to its global Management Committee, recognizing both her leadership and the growing strategic weight of Asia-Pacific in the group’s global performance. In September 2022, her responsibilities were broadened to CEO of APAC, a move that underscored the company’s confidence in her ability to drive regional growth and cross-market integration. Her expertise sits at the intersection of digital transformation, business growth, operational leadership and integrated marketing strategy. Publicis highlights her experience in managing key accounts, regional operations and market expansion, as well as her understanding of the “Power of One” model that combines creativity, media, data and technology into a unified client offering. In practice, this makes her a central figure in Publicis Groupe’s effort to deliver more connected and more effective solutions to multinational brands across Asia-Pacific. She has also received several industry distinctions, including AdAge’s “Women to Watch,” CBN Weekly’s “Top 50 Business Innovators,” and China 4A’s “Fastest Growing Agency CEO of the Year.” A Wharton graduate and fellow of the Aspen Global Leadership Network, Lin-Baden combines entrepreneurial experience with large-group governance expertise, making her one of Publicis Groupe’s key international leaders.
