Guillaume Jacq is Group Chief Financial Officer of EXEL Industries, the French listed industrial group known for spraying solutions, agricultural equipment, industrial applications, garden products and nautical activities. He was appointed to the role effective December 4, 2024, succeeding Thomas Germain. His arrival comes at a time when EXEL Industries continues to operate as a diversified industrial platform with an increasingly international footprint, requiring disciplined financial management, strong capital allocation and robust performance monitoring. Jacq graduated from Grenoble École de Management and holds an MBA from the University of Kentucky. He began his career in 2004 in the agrifood sector as a commercial financial controller, building an early foundation in business performance management, margin analysis and operational support. In 2008, he joined Imerys, a global leader in industrial minerals extraction and processing. Over the years, he held a progression of positions: internal auditor, industrial controller, financial controller, divisional CFO in France and abroad, and ultimately Group Controlling Director. This progression gave him broad exposure to both control functions and senior financial leadership in complex industrial environments. In 2020, he moved to Bostik, part of the Arkema chemicals group, where he became Finance Director for the Construction & Consumer business. There, he further strengthened his experience in specialty chemicals, international operations, profitability management and cash generation. In 2022, he joined Northern Graphite, a Canadian mining company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, and contributed to its development in natural graphite extraction and processing. Jacq’s career reflects a consistent focus on industrial finance, transformation environments and international scope. His expertise spans internal audit, management control, divisional finance, group controlling and senior CFO responsibilities. At EXEL Industries, he is positioned to support the group’s strategic execution through financial rigor, risk management and a clear view of value creation across its businesses.
