Gilles Coccoli is a senior international executive at Edenred, where he currently serves as Chief Operating Officer, Payment Solutions & New Markets. In this role, he oversees a strategically important portfolio focused on corporate payment services, new growth opportunities, and geographic expansion in high-potential markets. His responsibilities place him at the heart of Edenred’s executive leadership, within a group recognized globally for digital payment solutions that support the world of work. He began his career in 1994 at Arthur Andersen as an auditor, building a strong foundation in finance, internal control, and risk analysis. He then joined Accor Services Brazil in 1997 as Project Director, later moving into Finance and Technology leadership responsibilities. This early phase of his career highlights a rare combination of financial discipline, technology awareness, and operational execution across international markets. In 2007, Coccoli became Managing Director of Accor Services Turkey, and two years later he was appointed to lead PrePay Solutions, Edenred’s European authorization and processing platform. In 2012, he was named Executive Vice President, Strategy & Development, reinforcing his profile as a growth-oriented executive with a strong strategic mindset. The following year, he was appointed Managing Director of Edenred Brazil, one of the group’s key markets, before becoming Chief Operating Officer, Americas in 2019. Since January 2022, he has been responsible for Payment Solutions & New Markets, after previously overseeing Corporate Payment Services. His career reflects deep expertise in digital payment ecosystems, business transformation, international expansion, and platform-led growth. Educated at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the United States and HEC in France, he represents a highly international leadership profile well suited to governance, innovation, and execution in a listed global group.
