About Getlink SE

Yann Leriche is the leading executive at Getlink SE, where he has served as Chief Executive Officer since 1 July 2020. He also joined the company’s Board of Directors in 2021 and was appointed Vice-Chairman of the Board in 2026, underscoring his central role in the group’s governance and strategic direction. His background is well suited to a company operating the Channel tunnel and other critical transport assets, combining operational leadership, experience in heavily regulated international environments, and a strong focus on safety, performance, and industrial transformation. Before joining Getlink, Leriche built a career spanning the public sector and the transport and mobility industries. He began as a project manager for road infrastructure before moving into the construction and operation of public transport systems. He then held leadership positions at Bombardier Transportation, including Director of Guided Light Transit Systems. In 2008, he joined Transdev, where he successively led Transamo, the German subsidiary Transdev SZ, and later North American transit operations. In 2014, he became Director of Performance and a member of the Executive Committee. From 2017 to 2020, he served as Managing Director of Transdev North America, overseeing the group’s business in the United States and Canada. At Getlink, Leriche has become a key transformation leader. His arrival coincided with a governance evolution separating the roles of Chairman and CEO, a structure the Board considers better suited to the company’s cross-border profile and long-term challenges. His mandate has been renewed so the company can continue to benefit from his expertise and commitment. His contribution is closely associated with strengthening operational excellence, improving safety culture, and supporting the execution of Getlink’s strategy in a complex binational setting. Leriche graduated from École Polytechnique, École des Ponts et Chaussées, Collège des Ingénieurs, and ESCP Europe. Since 2023, he has also been a member of the Board of Air France-KLM, further broadening his profile across European transport and mobility. His career reflects a rare mix of public infrastructure experience, transport operations leadership, and strategic management in large-scale regulated businesses.
