About Cumello Joseph
Joseph Cumello is Senior Vice President and General Manager of Blue Planet at Ciena. Ciena says he first joined the company in 2004 through the acquisition of Internet Photonics, returned in 2015 through the acquisition of Cyan, where he served as chief marketing officer, and was later promoted to Senior Vice President, Global Marketing & Communications in September 2020 and then to his current Blue Planet role in January 2023.
