Cécile Béliot-Zind is a French business leader known for her strong track record in consumer goods, food, and international brand transformation. She has served as an independent member of the Supervisory Board of Hermès International since 30 April 2025, and also sits on the Audit and Risk Committee. Hermès states that she meets the Afep-Medef independence criteria as well as Hermès’ additional governance requirements. Her current term runs until the 2028 Annual General Meeting. She holds an MBA from ESSEC Business School and built much of her career at Danone, where she spent more than fifteen years in a range of marketing and executive roles. Her responsibilities included leading Danone Eaux France & Benelux and later One Danone, giving her deep experience in strategy, market development, and managing highly visible consumer brands. This background established her reputation as a leader capable of combining commercial execution with long-term strategic planning. In 2018, she joined Bel Group as Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of strategy, markets, and growth, before being promoted to Group Executive Vice-President. In May 2022, she became Chief Executive Officer of Bel Group, becoming the first woman to lead the company. In that role, she has overseen the acceleration of Bel’s transformation strategy, the strengthening of its international footprint, and the expansion of its plant-based and healthier snacking portfolio. Under her leadership, Bel has also reinforced its commitment to profitable and responsible growth, with greater emphasis on innovation, industrial performance, and social and environmental impact. Her profile combines strategic vision, brand management expertise, international market experience, and governance experience in both family-controlled and listed-company environments. At Hermès, she brings valuable insight into sustainable performance, risk oversight, international development, and long-term value creation.
