David Blundin is an American technology entrepreneur and investor best known as the Chairman and Co-Founder of EverQuote, Inc., where he has served on the board since August 2008. He is also the Founder and Managing Partner of Link Ventures, a venture capital firm he has led since January 2006, and a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Vestigo Ventures, which he co-founded in 2016. His career spans company building, venture investing, and long-term board leadership across software, internet, and financial technology businesses. Prior to EverQuote, Blundin held leadership roles in several technology-focused companies. He was the founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of DataSage, Inc., a company that applied neural-network technology to industrial data analytics, including online marketing applications. DataSage was later acquired by Vignette Corporation, after which Blundin served as Chief Technologist. Earlier in his career, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Cirrus Recognition Systems, one of the early commercially successful machine-learning companies. These roles reflect a consistent focus on advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and scalable software businesses. Blundin has also been an active builder in the venture and startup ecosystem around Cambridge, Massachusetts.
