Arnaud de Puyfontaine is one of France’s leading media and entertainment executives, with a career defined by senior leadership roles in listed groups and deep expertise in strategy, M&A, and digital transformation. He graduated from ESCP Business School in 1988, the Institut Multimédias in 1992, and Harvard Business School in 2000. He began his career at Arthur Andersen and then worked in 1989 as a project manager at Rhône-Poulenc Pharma in Indonesia. In 1990, he joined Le Figaro as Executive Director. From 1995 onward, he played a central role in the development of Emap in France, where he led Télé Poche and Studio Magazine, oversaw the acquisition and integration of Télé Star and Télé Star Jeux, and helped launch the Emap Star division. He became CEO of Emap France in 1998 and Chairman and CEO in 1999, while also joining the executive board of Emap plc in 2000.
