Andrea Mangoni is an international executive with deep experience in infrastructure, energy, telecommunications, and mobility. Since 1 May 2023, he has served as Chief Executive Officer of Mundys, a European infrastructure and mobility group, and in July 2025 he joined the Board of Directors of Getlink SE as a non-independent director. His appointment reflects the value of his background in strategic, regulated sectors that are highly relevant to a listed company such as Getlink, the operator of the Channel Tunnel. Mangoni holds a degree in economics from the University of Rome. He began his career at the Inter-American Development Bank before building a management track record focused on corporate finance, strategy, and operational leadership. He joined Acea in 1995 as Head of Finance, then moved into the role of Chief of Strategy and, in 2001, became Group CFO. This early phase of his career gave him a strong foundation in financial planning, capital allocation, performance management, and the governance of infrastructure businesses. He later moved to Telecom Italia, where he held senior positions across international operations and Telecom Italia Sparkle, and subsequently became CEO of TIM Brazil in 2012. In these roles, he gained experience managing large-scale, international, capital-intensive businesses in highly competitive markets. From 2013 to 2015, he served as CEO of Sorgenia, an electricity generation and supply company, where he led a major financial restructuring and industrial turnaround. In 2016, he was appointed CEO of doValue, a listed Southern European leader in the management of non-performing loan and real estate portfolios, a role he held until 2023. At doValue, he helped consolidate the company’s position as a leading specialist in its sector. His career stands out for a consistent ability to lead turnaround situations, navigate regulated industries, and create value in essential infrastructure-related businesses. At Getlink, his experience brings a useful long-term perspective on infrastructure, energy transition, and mobility strategy.
