About Aiman Ezzat

Aiman Ezzat has been Chief Executive Officer of Capgemini SE since May 20, 2020, after previously serving as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and then Chief Operating Officer of the Group. He is also a member of Capgemini SE’s Board of Directors and of the Strategy & CSR Committee, and he has been a director of Air Liquide since 2021. In Capgemini’s governance structure, he is the key executive responsible for setting strategic direction and ensuring operational execution across a global technology and consulting leader. Ezzat holds a Master of Science in chemical engineering from École Supérieure de Chimie Physique Electronique de Lyon and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management. His career combines finance, strategy, and large-scale transformation. Before becoming CEO, he was Capgemini’s Chief Financial Officer from 2012 to 2018, after leading the Financial Services Global Business Unit and earlier serving in group strategy roles. That background gave him deep expertise in capital allocation, portfolio management, profitability improvement, and business transformation. At Capgemini, he contributed to major structural initiatives, including the Booster turnaround plan for the Group’s U.S. business, the expansion of the company’s offshore strategy, and the acquisition and integration of Kanbay, an IT services firm focused on financial services. Prior to Capgemini, he was Managing Director of International Operations at Headstrong, where he worked in financial services, and he spent nine years at Gemini Consulting, where he held several leadership positions, including Global Head of the Oil, Gas and Chemicals practice. This international path gave him broad exposure to complex client industries and global operating models. His leadership has been associated with financial discipline, strategic clarity, and execution at scale. In 2021, Institutional Investor named him “Best European CEO” in the technology and software category, reflecting his standing among European corporate leaders. He is also a Knight of the Legion of Honor, underscoring his broader recognition in France.
