Xavier Cauchois is a French business leader and independent board director known for his long-standing expertise in technology, telecommunications and media. He currently serves as an independent director of Dassault Systèmes, where he contributes deep insight into governance, audit, compliance and strategic oversight for a global software company. He also serves on the board of Temenos, reinforcing his profile as a seasoned governance professional trusted by internationally listed, technology-driven companies. Before joining the boards of Temenos and Dassault Systèmes, Cauchois spent the core of his career at PwC in France, where he worked for more than 35 years. Until May 2018, he was a senior partner. Over the course of that career, he advised a wide range of French and international clients, from start-ups and mid-sized companies to major corporate groups, helping them navigate growth, audit, advisory and regulatory challenges. His particular focus was on the technology, telecom and media sectors, where he built a strong reputation for supporting complex, transformation-oriented businesses. He held several leadership responsibilities within PwC, including heading the Technology practice in Europe and France. He was also a member of PwC’s Global Strategic Committee for Audit from 2005 to 2008 and later served on the France Executive Committee, where he was responsible for partners and strategy from 2013 to 2016.
