Vincent Schaal plays an important role at Kering as a director representing employees, appointed by the group’s Social and Economic Committee in June 2022 for a four-year term starting on August 1, 2022. Beyond his governance mandate, he has held senior operational responsibilities within Kering Technologies, where he spent many years as Infrastructure Director before moving in 2025 to the role of Cloud Program Director, overseeing the group’s cloud environments. His career reflects deep technical expertise in networks, telecommunications, and large-scale IT infrastructure management. He began his professional journey at Renault in 1994 as a network and telecom engineer, then joined Carrefour Group in 1997 as Network Global Manager. In 1999, he moved to the PPR group, later renamed Kering, again as Network Global Manager, and gradually advanced to lead infrastructure operations. This long tenure within the same corporate ecosystem demonstrates a strong understanding of enterprise IT, digital transformation, operational resilience, and information systems security in a demanding international luxury group. Vincent Schaal is a graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure de Physique in Strasbourg and holds a postgraduate DEA degree in photonics, giving him a solid scientific foundation that supports his technology leadership. His board-level role also strengthens employee representation within Kering’s governance framework and provides valuable insight into infrastructure modernization, cloud strategy, and the technological backbone supporting the group’s business and brands.
