Vincent Legros is a French industrial executive known for a career spanning infrastructure materials, manufacturing, and specialty chemicals, with recognized expertise in operational transformation, international expansion, and acquisition integration. He graduated from École Polytechnique and École des Ponts et Chaussées and also holds a postgraduate degree in production and corporate organization. This high-level technical background shaped a career focused on industrial performance, leadership of complex organizations, and long-term value creation. He began his career in 1998 at Saint-Gobain within Pont-à-Mousson as a production engineer. He then held several management roles across industrial operations, including responsibility for the Toul plant and later the Pont-à-Mousson site, before moving on to lead the fittings and valves business. In 2006, he was appointed chief operating officer of Saint-Gobain Pont-à-Mousson, strengthening his expertise in plant management and capital-intensive industrial operations. From 2009 to 2013, he served as managing director of Saint-Gobain Pont-à-Mousson China, an important phase that gave him substantial experience in Asia and in overseeing growth projects in a fast-developing market. In 2013, he became managing director of Saint-Gobain Pont-à-Mousson and head of the group’s pipe business. He later joined Arkema in 2016 as Executive Vice President of Bostik and member of the Executive Committee. At the helm of this strategic subsidiary, he supported the expansion of performance adhesives, a high-value segment central to Arkema’s growth strategy. He played a key role in integrating transformational acquisitions such as Den Braven, helping strengthen Bostik’s global footprint and its positions in construction and industrial markets.
