About Thierry CHAPUSOT
Thierry CHAPUSOT is a key corporate governance figure at Equasens, the French-listed healthcare software and technology group. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors and also chairs the Group’s Strategy and CSR Committee. His role is highly strategic, with a particular focus on external growth, innovation, interoperability, and the integration of environmental and social responsibility into board-level decision-making. His professional career began in 1983 at TEXET Corporation in Dallas, United States, where he worked as a microelectronics design engineer. This early international experience helped shape a strong technical mindset and a long-standing interest in technology-driven business development. In 1996, he gave a new direction to his career by co-founding EQUASENS, then known as Pharmagest Interactive, together with Thierry and Vincent PONNELLE. He served as Chief Executive Officer until 31 December 2009, making him one of the historical builders of the company. In 2010, Thierry CHAPUSOT became Chairman of the Board of Directors of Equasens. Since then, he has played an important role in the group’s transformation, supporting its expansion beyond pharmacy software to become a broader healthcare ecosystem player serving the coordination between community care and hospital care. He is recognized for his expertise in strategy, M&A and external growth, as well as for his ability to guide a listed company through successive phases of development. He also contributed to a major corporate milestone when the group changed its name from Pharmagest to Equasens in 2022, reflecting a broader healthcare identity and a more diversified business model. As board chairman, he helps ensure governance that is focused on performance, transparency and long-term value creation. Overall, Thierry CHAPUSOT represents a seasoned executive with a rare combination of entrepreneurial experience, industrial know-how and deep knowledge of the healthcare digital sector.
