About Surojit CHATTERJEE
Surojit Chatterjee is a leading technology executive and currently serves as an independent director on the Board of Atos SE. His appointment was proposed in 2025 and, subject to shareholder approval, he is expected to join the Board with membership on the Nomination and Governance Committee. At Atos, he is positioned as a strategic profile capable of contributing insight on digital transformation, data, and artificial intelligence. He built his career at the intersection of engineering, product management, and executive leadership. He started in 1999 as a software developer at IBM, then moved to Oracle in a technical role. In 2005, he shifted into product management at Symantec, beginning a progression toward roles with greater commercial, innovation, and product execution responsibilities. In 2007, he joined Google, where he held several leadership roles across payments, mobile products, and advertising, gaining deep experience in large-scale digital ecosystems. In 2015, he became Senior Vice President and Head of Product at Flipkart, helping shape the product strategy of one of India’s major e-commerce players. He later returned to Google in 2017 as Vice President of Product Management for Google Shopping. In 2020, he joined Coinbase as Chief Product Officer, operating in a fast-moving environment shaped by rapid adoption of digital technologies and product innovation. In 2023, he founded Ema Unlimited, a generative AI company, where he serves as CEO. His expertise spans artificial intelligence, product strategy, software innovation, and the scaling of digital platforms globally. Since 2024, he has also served on the Board of Directors of Meesho, an Indian e-commerce company. He holds degrees from IIT Kharagpur, the University at Buffalo, and MIT, combining strong academic credentials with international operational experience. For Atos, his value lies in his understanding of next-generation technology models, product-led value creation, and the governance challenges of complex digital businesses.
