Stéphane Stoll currently holds one of the most strategically important positions within the Bouygues group: Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer, following his effective appointment on 1 August 2025. He also joined the Group Management Committee, underscoring his central role in financial steering and corporate governance. Bouygues has stated that this appointment is part of the succession process for Pascal Grangé, who is due to retire in 2026. His career at Bouygues is a strong example of long-term internal progression built across construction, services and energy. He joined Bouygues in 1994, first as a project leader reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, Construction, at Bouygues SA, before moving into the internal audit teams for five years. In 2002, he joined Bouygues Energies & Services, then known as ETDE, to help develop the Facilities Management business, taking on both financial and operational responsibilities over time. In 2010, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Bouygues Energies & Services, and in 2017 he became Senior Vice President in charge of Development, Innovation and Digital Transformation. This progression highlights a distinctive combination of financial discipline and operational understanding, with a strong exposure to transformation agendas. Following Bouygues’ acquisition of Alpiq’s Energy & Services business in 2018, he took over as CEO of Kraftanlagen in Germany, where he led integration and consolidation efforts. In 2021, he became Executive Vice President of Energies & Industry at Bouygues Energies & Services. Since 2023, he had served at Equans as Executive Vice President for Central Europe, Data Centres, Solar Energy & Storage, with responsibility for a broad geographic and business scope spanning Central Europe and fast-growing energy-related activities. In that role, he supported the launch of Equans Solar & Storage, a development aligned with Bouygues’ focus on energy transition, decarbonisation and high-value service solutions. Overall, his profile combines finance, strategy, integration leadership, international management and the transformation of energy businesses. As Bouygues CFO, he brings deep knowledge of the group, its business lines and the key drivers of long-term performance.
